This charming history began as a series of articles published in the Bulletin of the Historical Society of Haddonfield, and describes the histories of houses, outbuildings and other structures that were moved out of and around Haddonfield, New Jersey. The book features 42 “moves,” from farmhouses to churches to outbuildings and much more. Many chapters include before and after pictures, maps of building locations, and even some of the family histories associated with the moving projects. The book was published in observance of the 100th anniversary of the Historical Society of Haddonfield.
